FIRE STEELE AND BRAND THE RUMPS OF RNC COMMITTEEMEN

True the vast majority of American businesses have not been taken over by the federal government. Creeping socialism never begins with the conner market, or the local shoe store, but with the big boys--the banks, the big insurance companies, the auto makers. Once this is done the little fish will be easy to subdue. Yes, Obama is on the road to socialism and a blind man should be able to see it. Some will deny this and will not believe it could happen and will find a thousand things to point to, to indicate its not happening---that crowd is always present and will not see the tidal wave until it sweeps over them.

IF REAGAN TOLERATED MODERATES, WHY CAN'T TODAY'S CONSERVATIVES?

Most of what we are hearing about the Republicans not being a big tent party is coming from the MSM. The GOP is probably more open than the Demos.

A TEA PARTY WALKBACK -- OF SORTS

Its not FOX news, its not conservative radicals, it not just Republicans its----Taxes, Taxes and more Taxes. Do you think you pay enough, do you think you pay too much, do you think you pay too little, or do you think at all. Unfortunately, many Americans fall into the last catagory. They don't think, they don't care, or they don't think they can make a difference. The Tea Parties may, just may be a spark that ignites a great fire-storm, on that we'll have to wait and see. At least some took the time, took the effort, and took a stand for what they believe in. And that by any view is good and the way it should be... Napoleon said, "ten people who speak make more noise than ten thousand who are silent". That says it all.

ENEMIES OF THE STATE

The only thing that may slow down the surveillance of the right by those now in possession of the keys to the executive washrooms in Washington would be another major attack from external forces (Islamic Terrorist). And I suspect thats in the planning stage even as I make this comment. Thats not to say, that we have no loons on the right--we certainly do, but the left has us beat on that score. I've no doubt that during these last 3 years of the Obama administration that incidents will occur, both from the right and the left. But I would suggest that if an attack comes on Obama it is more likely to come from those on the far left as apposed to those on the far right. History lesson: JFK---killed by far leftest Oswald, RFK---killed by leftest Sirhah. One can go back farther and find different outcomes, but these two are the most recent.

OLIVER WILLIS: IRRATIONAL CERTAINTY

It amazing how some thing get started. I'm old enough to remember the JFK assignation in 1963. I was home that afternoon and taking a nap when my grandmother came in and told me Kennedy had been shot. I immediately when to the TV. In those days there were only 3 major news sources--NBC, CBS, and ABC. I was going back and forth to catch all the news on that shattering event. And I suddenly noticed that they were all picking up on the same theme---Dallas had been a hot bed of right wing activity. The implication being that the killer was part of a vast right wing conspiracy. That continued for sometime, until it was learned that Lee Harvey Oswald was indeed a lefty---had lived in Russia and part of a fair play for Cuba group. Needless to say---then there was no mention of a vast left-wing conspiracy. So the recent events and the coverage of the shootings in NY doesn't surprise me in the least---its simply par for the course. Thank goodness we do have more news sources now.

BLOWHARD NEW YORK TIMES CONTRIBUTOR A PARANOID LOON

No, I haven't heard anyone calling for revolution, but sometimes it does seem that the end result to such radical actions by the Obama administration could be revolution. In fact I did do a recent fictional post on that issue titled "Obama's Road". Its simply a short cause and effect article.

WHAT SLIPPERY SLOPE?

Soylent Green and Logan's Run and some other films are great example of an all powerful government controling the lives of its citizens. Politicians always think they and they alone have the solutions and the masses are simply dumb and uninformed so they must show the way. Its not what governments stand for, but how much power we allow them to accumulate---the more power they get the more they will want. Its just the nature of the beast. The beast being government. The bigger the government the smaller and smaller the individual becomes, his rights become fewer as the government grows. Anyone who thinks differently on this is living in a fools world.

RIGHT OR WRONG, BUSH MADE AN IMPACT

History will prove Bush to be a better than average president. Presidents are made not by their policies, but rather by the flow of history and the character of the man. Lincoln is viewed as a great president, but if Lee would have won at Gettysbury he would have went down as a failure. Again the flow of history. Obama, as I see it, is a timid and weak individual. This is a flaw in a man and a disaster in a president. Bush on the other hand is stong and decisive.

INVESTIGATING THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION A PARTISAN MINEFIELD

Bush and torture of terrorist. One hardly knows what to say, has it really gotten to the point where we can't pour a cup of water over a terrorists' face, we can't deprive them of sleep, or force them to undress. In gods name what are we becoming. Has the world gone stark raving mad--absurdity has taken over. With that in mind I propose the followig: lets send convicts on a world wide cruise, and have arabs kissing jews, and finally charge freight rates across an ant hill!!!!!!

24 UNTIL 24 -- OPEN THREAD

Jack is coming back--or is he. We will see tonight and tomorrow night. Will he still be the same "hit them hard guy" or will he evolve into a politically correct Obamaitized version. I think hollywierd and the Bay lefties will get their Jack or maybe I should say Jill. Remember the old nursery rhyme. Jack went up the hill and Jill came down (something like that)!! More to come.
